Over the past 25 years MTC Works has helped thousands of Columbia County residents access employment opportunities through the Workforce Investment Act. The Workforce Investment Act is a federally funded program designed to assist jobseekers during their job search, as such there are eligibility requirements. To find out if you are eligible or to get more information on how MTC Works can help in your job search, attend our free orientation held every Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m.
Registered customers can access classes in Applications, Resume Writing, Cover and Thank You Letters, Interviewing, and Work Ethics.
Registered customers can enroll in computer classes in Basic Operation, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks. Class times and dates vary depending on staff schedule.
Columbia County Job and Career Fair
MTC Works and the Oregon Employment Department have co-sponsored this local event for the past 11 years. Each year over 40 employers provide 400+ jobseekers with details about their businesses.
